[Speex-dev] ask a question about echo cancel

I'm a developer and doing echo cancel.I just want to ask:
In this function 
speex_echo_cancellation(SpeexEchoState *st, const spx_int16_t *in, const spx_int16_t *far_end, spx_int16_t *out)
the param "in","far_end" and "out" are encoded data or decoded data?
