The kernel itself has emu10k1 drivers.
Go to sound. say y or m to sound card support
say y or m to creative SBLive! (emu10k1) support.

of course. that's assuming you have an SBLive! which i'm not sure you
did (unless a SB512 is based on the EMU10K chipset)
