about "[vorbis] Vorbis Comment Editor v0.1.0":

>> WS> I want to implement it as a property sheet (or at least have a
WS> property
>> WS> sheet version) so a user can simply right click on the an ogg file and
WS> then
>> WS> select properties to modify the comments.

WS> The right click feature would be implemented in exporer (an explorer
WS> extension). Right clicking a file in explorer already has a 'Properties...'
WS> option.
SINGLE WORD: "NO" :)

WS> What you describe above is something I have in mind as well.
SINGLE WORD: "YES"
Yessss :))

WS> I also have a few other ideas I might implement. They are:
WS> - Showing vorbis information such as bitrate etc.

GOOD.

WS> - Modifying multiple files in one go. eg setting the artist of a dozen
WS> vorbis files.

GOOD. Also look at EAC's various artists implemented in comment edit.

WS> - Integration into explorer (ie the Property sheet).

Only as option. I'm not too positive about it.

WS> - A 'simple' mode where fields such as title, artist etc are set out
WS> just like the winamp id3 editor.

Well, for dumb users (or experienced users in dumb mode ;) it'd be
rather nice.

WS> These are just my ideas. I invite all users to submit their ideas either to
WS> me or to this mailing list.

Well....still sitting impressed with feeling of having a working VCE at last
;)))

keep in touch. berk.
