Hi,

I tried the Windows Speex executable from speex.org
(speex-1.2beta3-win32.zip to be specific). When I run it from the
command line, trying to encode the male.wav file from the samples page
(also at speex.org), it crashes, after displaying the "Encoding ..."
message and creating an empty output file.

These are the details of the error that Windows reported:

   Problem Event Name:	APPCRASH
   Application Name:	speexenc.exe
   Application Version:	0.0.0.0
   Application Timestamp:	475db993

I'm running Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

The slightly older build (1.2 beta 2) I found at rarewares.org worked fine.
