[Speex-dev] Speex hardware requirements?

My intension was to find out if it was possible to make a audiobook 
player. Unfortunaly I have more or less no skill in c/c++ yet, so I 
can't program a audiobook player or make a simple single file player. 
And John, that RPG with audio dialogs is quite a good idea.
