[Vorbis] digital audio player

I bought a Samsung YP-C1X that is a mass storage device and it plays OGG 
files :-)
The problem is that I want to set up the music files without using the 
Windows software.
I set up folders called 'music/artist/album/song'.
All the 'music/artist' folders are visible but only the first 15 
'music/artist' folders display sub folders.
It works if I put all the songs in 'music/artist' folders.

Samsung basically says to use Windows.
I want to use any OS so manual setup is best.

Does anyone know what the problem is with having folders organized the 
way I want or how I can test to figure out what the problem is?
