Only the "revised BSD licence" is GPL compatible. The orginial one is
not because of the advertising clause.


(from the GNU page above:) "When you want to refer specifically to one
of the BSD licenses, please always state which one: the ``original BSD
license'' or the ``revised BSD license''."
