Hello,

My name is Michael Chacon.

I am interested in learning more about "streaming audio".

While looking into service providers, I stumbled upon your group.

It seems like there is very heavy tech talk going on here. I am not so sure this group is where I should be. I don't want to impose where I do not belong.

I am mostly interested in finding a way to make streaming audio files easily available to others on line. Mostly monophonic voice recordings to start with. I have an immediate and pressing need for that.

The groups web page mentioned something about free speech and interestingly enough, the files I am interested in posting on line are recordings of my courtroom appearances that deal directly and indirectly with freedom of speech and other substantial rights issues that have been severely infringed upon by sworn judicial officers and attorneys who have a long history of abusing discretion and privilege to unlawfully interpret constitutional law to the legal and financial detriment of US citizens at large.

I have also compiled some interesting exchanges with other related agencies that tend to expose contempt for more than a passing interest in how things are handled rather than a desire to assist and serve more informed members of the public.

Briefly it is my position that the Federal and State Constitutions are strict conservative documents guarantying liberal freedoms.

The biggest offenders and violators of Constitutional rights in this country appear to be the law enforcement agencies sworn to uphold and defend the enumerated constitutional rights of the people.

By periodically "re-interpreting" the strict and clear dictates of the US Federal and State Constitutions, these officers have illegally reserved the privilege to unlawfully amend the constitutions for political advantage and ill gotten financial gain without having to adhere to the very clear and explicitly detailed process prescribed for doing so.

I will not bore you with further details. If anyone expresses an interest in helping, please contact me off list and I will be happy to share more with you unless you feel my request is appropriate for group discussion.

I do not believe I can fully absorb the learning curve necessary to understand what is happening with your technology in a short period of time.

I have one file ready for immediate posting. It is approximately 40 minutes in length. Any assistance or reasonable recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I am a single citizen activist not actively affiliated with any political party. I consider myself to be a devout man of GOD and I am lawfully and peacefully testing the ethics and reliability of this country's legal system in a very unique way and I suspect that what I am doing will soon be of great interest to a great many people.

I am not a licensed attorney and I am not on any special interest groups payroll! In fact, if it was not for the the assistance I receive from others, I would be in serious financial and residential trouble. It is critically important that I remain legally indigent throughout my legal endeavors.

Perhaps in the future, I will refocus my attention into full range multi track audio. I am also a musician with access to a small but mighty project studio.

I am not proficient in real heavy tech stuff but I am interested in learning more.

The common wav. format being used to transfer audio over the web is not really practical time wise or bandwith wise for the average user of which I am one. 30 to 40 minutes to upload or download a 5 min wav. files seems unreasonable and prohibitive.

It seems that if more effective compression rates were available, sharing audio files should be no more time consuming than sending a regular e mail.

In fact it occurs to me that someday soon it should be possible to perform music in a group format from multiple distant PC stations in real time with others also being able to view and listen to the virtual performance in real time.

I would be interested in learning more about stuff like that.

In other words, there must be a better way. Is Vorbis OGG it?

In the mean time, I am looking for the best way to make those legal files available. I have already developed an on line media group to present my audio transcripts and reports so that I might enjoy the absolute 1st amendment right protection to freedom of the press.

Some of the recordings the media group will release in the future might be legally attacked so I am proceeding as carefully as possible.

If I am barking up the wrong tree here, perhaps someone might suggest something I may try alternatively.

I am having difficulty determining whether I received a response or not. I had not expected to find so many posts in my inbox in two days time.

Thank you very much in advance,

Michael S. Chacon
