In the examples you give, I personally would use the PART tag.
But if someone can come up with a better example, I don't see why not.
Thats what I get for running latest nightly versions of Mozilla, and
sticking to the CSS1 and CSS2 standards. The latest Mozilla is the only
browser that properly supports them :-(
Oddly enough, I think Konqueror works better than Opera and Internet
Explorer in rendering the page, but at least in IE you can click the
links because it handles the z-index property properly.
