It's like the AMD Atlon XP vs. Pentium 4 numbering
system - a marketing ploy, but necessary.

The question is...how to do it.

Maybe only the command line version should have
bitrate settings, not oggdrop. The problem with
this is that all the ogg shells will simply put
bitrate settings back in again. All the mp3 peeps
who ask "how do I set the bitrate" will then be
directed to "The Best Ogg Shell - over a million
downloads" which will allow them to set the
bitrate properly - to 128kbps.
