I am using XMMS 1.2.5 which has (basic) title formatting:
%p - Performer/Artist
%a - Album
%g - Genre
%f - File name
%F - File path
%e - File extension
%t - Track name
%n - Track number
%d - Date
%y - Year
%c - Comment
Further more, the ogg vorbis input plugin (under Audio I/O Plugins,
click on "configure") can override the generic title settings to be OGG
specific.

Single songs: ".../(artist) - songname.ogg"
Albums: ".../artist/album/01. trackname.ogg" (generated with grip from
http://nostatic.org/grip/)
