I'm starting to agree with you.  No point in loading a bunch of
crap into the comment field that's going to be duplicated in the
metadata stream, when you can just dump a simple (easily editable)
string into the comment field for easy display purposes.  The comment
field is just going to turn into a slightly less stupid version of
ID3 at this rate.

What exactly is intended to go into the metadata stream?
