I can't help you with thoose tables, but I have one suggestion for the bitrev tables.
Reversing the order of say eight bits is hard to do in software, but it's very easily done in hardware. The only thing required is 16 free I/O pins, and that's not a problem on most ARM CPU's.
I know, it only saves about 12kB rom space, and it's anything but portable, but still, if you happens to be on a tight system, every byte counts.
