Thanks for the kind offer, but there are already packages for various
distros, Fedora and SuSE (the main ones using RPM files I think) being
among them. I'm not exactly sure what the processes are for these
distros to move packages from a testing repository to a main one when
it becomes usable by other programs though, which may contribute to
the delays.
