Thanks for your answer Michael and Conrad.

I feel there's a need for better/centralized documentation, but I'm only
beginning to see how it could be organized.
First I think your answers confirm what my searches told me, there is not a
starting point so far. We have to set up a wiki from scratch.

Concerning Mozilla I think Michael is right, they should focus on developers
and work on their own wiki (I don't know the extent of their documentation
work so far). User-side I think every article on the user's wiki should
tackle one issue at large and add the firefox-specific answers.

So let's see how it could work:

   - Mozilla + Xiph work on a developer's wiki, and outline the user's need
   based on their developers' focus + marketing vision for Theora
   - Theora/Firefox users' community writes draft articles about problems
   they met and how they got to solve them, useful tools.
   - Mozilla + Xiph provide guidance on how to straighten the whole thing.

Do you think this could be a good starting point?
