I believe this file is no longer used and contains functions that are no
longer valid/do not compile due to changes in the CP_INSTANCE structure. At
least I could not find reference to it in the makefiles, but as you know I
am a Linux dummy. Shouldn't it be removed from the lib directory, or is it
there for a reason (maybe for future reference?)

BTW I am making VisualC++ and CodeWarrior projects for Windows and Mac,
where the rest of our codebase is and where I had the VP32 code hooked into
our tools. Just trying to assess the changes between the vp32 tree we were
using and the theora alpha, and maybe migrate to it.

Maybe it is too early for platform specific projects to be included in the
cvs but I am following more or less the structure of the existing projects
in the ogg tree. If anyone is interested let me know.

If everything goes smoothly I will do an experiment later this week and try
to incorporate the current revised codebase and link it with the Mac/Windows
existing codec framework, substituting the appropriate pieces. I will let
you guys know of the results, could be a good first step in the maintenance
of future versions of the codecs.

        Regards,
