[Speex-dev] Innovation VQ

Hello,

How can I extract an innovation VQ code word index for a certain frame from
an encoded bits vector?

E.g.,:

speech_frame_1 has VQ_code_word_index_k1
speech_frame_2 has VQ_code_word_index_k2
...

etc.

*I need it for a speech research project where I would like to see the VQ
code words development over speech frames.*

I have compiled the sampleenc.c example from
http://www.speex.org/docs/manual/speex-manual/node13.html, and
looked at the bits allocation Table.3 at
http://www.speex.org/docs/manual/speex-manual/node10.html#cap:Frame-open-loop-analysis
.
Unfortunately, I did not succeed yet to extract the required information
from the "SpeexBits bits;".
