[Speex-dev] Speex performance on ARM9

Hi,

We want to use the Speex codec on an ARM9 based system. Specifically on a
PXA320 processor based device.

In our initial trials we found the encoder to be taking around 4 ms to
encode a 20 ms frame.

Can we bring this down to say 1 or 2 ms?
Is this achievable?
What is the best that people have seen on ARM9 based systems?
