There are plans, but haven't done so yet. I'll keep that
in mind when changing the jitter buffer.



OK, great. I am using my own JB because I do make use of
silence for this exact reason. Maybe that should be a
configurable run-time option in your implementation:
return silence when JB is empty and drop silence when
it's full.
