Hi Marc,

As I understand it, this represents the peak amplitude you want the 
AGC to aim for.  If you look at preprocess.c, you'll see that this 
should be a float from 1 to 32768, with the default being 8000.  
I've been using 70% of the maximum in my application.  You should 
probably experiment to see what works best for you.
