[speex-dev] DTX in speech

Sean,

    You probably want to use the speex_preprocess API in order to use 
the VAD available inside of the preprocessor.  The VAD inside the 
encoder will probably not give you the results you want, and if it did, 
I don't think it tells you (what it chooses).
