And I venture to guess your current CD-ROM drive is not a
Plextor.  Plextor is (or at least was, I am *not* up to date
here) one of the best drives for audio extraction.

Especially with bad disks, yes.

Especially with bad disks, yes.

<p>If *I* needed high audio extraction speeds and had the money to
burn, I'd try a Plextor --- or even have many computers ripping
in parallel.
