[paranoia] CD Drive keeps spinning up

If you don't have any native SCSI on your machine I would suspect that it's
/dev/sda.

What kind of drive is it?  It sounds like maybe it's gotten broken DAE
firmware?  Apparently that's fairly common.  Anyone else have any ideas?
