[paranoia] CD Drive keeps spinning up

Windows detects my drive as a Samsung SC-152L (it's supposed to be a
52x)

Any known issues with this drive?

ps: As far as my zip drive goes, /dev/sda is not a valid block device it
says. I might start another thread on this.. :o)
