[paranoia] Speed problem?

High speed drives can vibrate quite a bit.  XMMS is playing 1x, but DAE is
likely proceeding at 20x or so.

It shouldn't be possible to spin 'too fast' (why produce a drive that would 
shake itself apart at its rated speed?).  Mounting issues may be exacerbating 
the problem...

When reading data discs at full speed, I imagine you have the same trouble?
