/proc/interrupts will only tell you the interrupts that the kernel has handed
out to software drivers. It does not mean that there's no hardware actually
sitting on IRQ 5.

....or so you think.... (xplaycd would only be using audio through, not PCM
playback. mpg123 is harder to explain).
