Hi Brendan and all: Well the upgrade libshout didn't fix the
problem. Here are more logs from ices and icecast. They certainly
don't tell me much.

I can't help wondering if the warnings about not being able to connect
with yp.icecast.org have something to do with it. The client it
kicked sits all of 8 feet from the machine containing the server. Now
admittedly it goes out to the router interface card and back but that
still isn't far. The client machine is a pentium-200 not greate but
not bad either. Shouldn't have anything to do with ices crapping out
either. I'm not sure what other information might be relevant. Any
questions? hints? opinions!

  Kirk
