[icecast-dev] What about encoding in Ogg Speex?

Hi there!

I wonder whether it would be possible to use the Speex codec (besides
the Vorbis codec) to encode streams?

Speex provides much better results whet complessing speecs data...
...and some radio stations broadcast mostly speech, so this would
help a lot.

What do you think?
Is this feature planned?
Or is someone willing to work on this?
