A few weeks ago I asked for feedback regarding a DRM solution for Ogg Vorbis
files. I have gotten around to writing a proposal for how this DRM could be
implemented, and would like your feedback about this system architecture
before any development commences.

If there are people who have an interest in encryption or security programming
I would really appreciate any feedback or development advice you could
provide.

You can read the proposal with a simple FAQ at: http://oggs.sourceforge.net/

A couple of points I would like to stress:
- This project will use an OSI approved license. Ideally, the BSD license
would be used, but depending on the development libraries used a "more free"
(i.e. GPL) license may be necessary.
- This DRM proposal could be applied to any type of multimedia file. Ogg
Vorbis was chosen for the initial implementation because of the open format
and friendly development community. Once a successful Ogg Vorbis DRM
solution has been developed, the addition of other formats should not be
difficult.

Thanks, and I look forward to your feedback.
