And that primary difference is why I'd recommend using GT2 if
someone wants to use -q above, say, 8.5, because it definitely has
less pre-echo (actually I couldn't hear any pre-echo at all) and
the average bitrate is similar, or even smaller if you compare it
with > q9.0 bitrates.
