Sorry if it sounds like flame, but you make it sound like these people are 
locked in to some old (and add to that, windows based) technology and that's 
the main reason for their aversions against ogg. But in fact some of the very 
same people brought us ffmpeg, the de facto standard opensource multimedia 
framework. So they are not exactly clueless, and while they might sound a bit 
harsh sometimes, I am sure their critique has SOME merit. 
But anyhow, we shall see how well ogg catches on as a container, or if others 
fare better (e.g. matroska or nut, or some non free container).
