Thanks.  The full url does work . . . but I'd like to know why!  I read that it is desirable to use the relative reference, so I had gone with that.

  I guess you should have the entry as http://mydomain.com/learning.ogg 
  <http://mydomain.com/learning.m3u>
  Otherwise the application has no idea where to look. (Well, I guess it 
  looks at the root of your drive)
