[vorbis] Problems compiling vorbis CVS package

Hallo,

I'm trying to compile and install the vorbis librarys using the 'vorbis'
package available via the xiph cvs checkout system.  I can't figure out what
I'm missing or what's wrong but when I do a 'make', it errors and starts
spitting out a veeeeery long pdf file to the screen.  Has anyone else had a
problem like this that can help me figure out what's wrong?  I'd quote the
error but it's enormus..
