It was last measured at 192kbps, and DVB-S audio is MPEG1 Layer 2,
which suggests it may be the multiband compression (eg. Optimod)
getting in the way of the encoding. Such compression makes the codec
have to work much harder.

Tip for radio stations wanting to get best usage out of DAB and DVB's
MP2 compression: don't do any processing of the signal other than
overall level companding. It'll probably help your Internet stream
quality, too.
