[vorbis] Neuros?

There has to be some tradeoff between quality and performance: a less
complex codec could run faster and fit in less memory, but also would
be less optimal.  As long as Vorbis works on some portable player
sometime in the near future, I will continue to consider it an
excellent tradeoff.

On a slightly-related note, the main thing I'm worried about now is
AAC taking the wind out of Vorbis' sails: with the launch of the
iTunes store---which is, in most respects, a *great* thing for the
proliferation of digital media devices and for increasing awareness of
the music industry's war on fair use---I'm worried that Vorbis will be
the "fourth" man out in most of these portable players (behind MP3,
WMA, and AAC), and will remain unsupported due to space and time
considerations.
