Because then I'd have to start using Debian testing.
As far as I can tell, the only version of GCC that is both broken and
routinely used is the beta version that appeared in Redhat a few releases
ago, and I think they've got the message as to what a stupid idea that was.
All that needs to be done is to state in the build instructions not to use
that compiler, just like every other project who've been bite by this problem.
