Tagging is not a technical issue, it is a social one. Seghers agenda
isn't hidden, it is out in the open. It's not even a bad agenda, or one
I disagree with.

You may view telling the truth as harmful, but keep in mind I only speak
up because I am being harmed myself by untruths and misrepresentations.

I have been personally attacked on this forum and even moreso on IRC
for the past two years. To speak honestly about this is not an
"attack". It is telling the truth. While some people may dislike me,
and wish to perpetuate a situation where I stay silent about what I see
happening, that isn't the way to move forward with the Ogg Tag
Recommendations.

A year ago I canvassed the entire core team for active objections and
got to a point where it was all down to Segher. In the time since,
attitudes very well may have changed. Recent comments of Emmetts on IRC
indicate that during my absence from this forum, the core team has taken
a harsher attitude toward myself and the Recommendations than was the
case before. Why this would be the case, since I have been absent and
in contact with noone on the project, I leave to the readers
imagination.

All I can add is that the tenor of the comments on IRC is far more tense
than on this mailing list, and activity on IRC seems to have much more
impact and effect than what happens on this mailing list.
