[vorbis] another cool use for the vorbis direct show filter

So would I have to create a "Vorbis compressed .wav file" in order for the
sound source for my HTML page to be truly cross-platform? Or is there some
kind of Java implementation or something that would allow me to keep the
Vorbis file in tact without having to use an ACM or something?
