Not many people use WinMX..  Period.

As for Ogg vorbis.... the reality is that not many people use it.  Most
people aren't going to use it until programs like EasyCD, NeroCD,
MusicMatch, RealOne, etc. include vorbis in there ready for them to use.

MusicMatch is doing a new beta for v8 of their program, but I don't think
they are adding Vorbis, and probably have no urge to do so.  (Or any other
format, such as FLAC, etc. for that matter.)

Nero doesn't care, either.  They'd much rather include VQF [laugh!] than
something a wee bit newer.

I really don't know why so many companies / products are reluctant to
include vorbis support.  They'd much rather pay sizable licensing fees for
mp3pro, AACPlus, etc.  There's less support for those formats than there are
for Vorbis.

The only reasons I can think of are:

1) Many companies just don't care.

2) If they have to pay a large licensing fee, then it must be good.  And
since Vorbis is free, it can't be good.

3) They are afraid of the possible legal problems with a format that is
*supposedly* free.  (Meaning they'd have to pay lawyers big bucks to try and
check it.  Better for them to go with option #2 above.)
