Other advantages of a Vorbis ACM are:
1. Record to Vorbis files using the Windows Sound Recorder and lots of
other recording software that don't know anything about Ogg Vorbis. You
can always strip the WAV header off later if required.
2. Play Vorbis tracks using any number of Windows audio players. Some
of these are specialist players such as for radio broadcasting.
3. Use Vorbis Windows sounds such as Windows startup & shutdown, "You
have mail" etc.
