Try *.ogg, that's what I use. Last report... 49 files got thru my
filter, most of the rest are trash (mp3's of snoop doggy dogg etc).
That's low - generally I see more than 100, sometimes several hundred,
but often from only one or two sources. I get the impression that many
people are only returning a few results per search though. That makes
it a bit harder to get good results by just searching for *.ogg

What annoys me more, is people who don't name tracks sensibly or
include paths, so the search result is 15 tracks called "01-track
name.ogg", and I've got no idea as to the artist or album unless I
already have the track and happen to remember the name. It's easy
enough to download tOGGer and rename tracks in bulk, or just enable
path in search results. Bah, humbug.

In the last week maybe I've managed to download 172 ogg files
totalling 750MB, most of which sound fine. I'm currently sharing 700
odd files, most of them ogg format, all Q=7 ripped with v1.0 Try
searching for "tiddas" or "ginger tom" - admittedly I tend to share
somewhat odd music, figuring that people like you will download at
least some of it to see what it sounds like, thus spreading the
interesting music. Why share yet another copy of J-Lo's latest single
when there's already 50 sources for it?
