<p>I fail to see how you can output non-MPEG-4 streams while retaining the
quality of an MPEG-4 stream without designing a whole new codec from scratch
to avoid the MPEG-4 patents. VP3.2 still sounds as good as any option in that
case, especially since it has already been gone over by patent lawyers,
presumably.
