CF is not so expensive... and it is a very convenient storage medium. 
Since so many consumer devices use it (eg digital camera, other mp3 
player, etc) it makes exchange with the Zaurus very easy.

It is more expensive than the Zaurus :-(

IIRC zaurus lasts somewhat longer than that under normal usage.
