Salve fungus,

Stan gave me this hint:
>Have you looked at Speex?
>(http://speex.sf.net) It is a speech codec which will probably have
>much better compression on voice.

And I talked with one Speex developer, Jean-Marc:
>> Need Speex like Vorbis Ogg much more time for encoding than MP3?
>I think in most cases Speex will take less time encoding than MP3 and
>Vorbis.

Try out about CPU power for deconing. I got the impression from the Speex
homepage that speex has a more simple algorithm then other codecs, so it
should be faster and have smaller bitrate for same quality.

If you developing video games with individuel audiostreams for each voice,
using Speex for voice, vorbis ogg for sound and noise would may help you.
