[vorbis] Encoding from mic (linux) question

The tools to do this are in xiph CVS along with vorbis.  The modules you
want are 'icecast', 'libshout', and 'ices'.  Ices is the tool you want
to encode from line-in and send to an icecast server, and icecast will
accept and serve such streams.

Note that this is a different version of icecast than the one currently
on icecast.org.
