Oggs are easy to decode as well :)  And there's good libraries for doing
so. :)  You'd also get metadata for free when spec gets done.

Icecast won't break since it deals only at the ogg level.  In fact, if
you wrote a streamer for it (libshout will let you do this in minutes)
then you should have lossless audio streams.  Note sure how useful a
700kbps audio stream is, but one never knows.
