Well, it's a bit odd.
The rate seams to go up and down in periodes. At certain times; it is
around 90 - 100Kbps; a couple minutes later, it's 100 to 110 Kbps.
Anycase, I've checked the statistics of the ISDN-channels on my
dailup-router, and it seams to be around 120 Kbps (that's at
INTERFACE-level).
So, this would indead mean that the bitrates shown in xmms are pure
DATA-packets; and the TCP and IP-layer add some 10 to 15 Kbps to that!
Anycase, this means I can now listen to a 90 to 110 Kbps vorbis stream
using multilink ISDN; at the same quality as a 128 Kbps MP3-stream; (which
doesn't fit into 2 ISDN B-channels).
Cheerio! Kr. Bonne.
