I dunno if I'd call this a bug, but it is a known issue.  One which the
winamp developers don't seem concerned with fixing.  Apparently they close
the stream to the wave device between files, so no matter if the files are
seamless or not there will always be a small pop or click.  This plugin is
what you need for truly gapless playback:
