Ohh, thats FUD!
You can buy a Casio MD player for $99.99 from MiniDisco.com!
ATRAC is an _EXTREMELY_  good compression algorithm. Most new recorders are
24bit anyway, so it makes up for it in a larger dynamic area. With Sharp's
ATRAC6, copy generation is almost eliminated!
