[vorbis] joint stereo - advantages / when?

This isn't yet decided actually.

Bugfixes, API improvements/additions.  b3 is to be Very Soon; the 31st
was the plan, that's looking a little tight.  You know about me and
deadlines.

(However, my wife's off on business for two weeks, so I have
relatively unlimited hacking time :-)
